I was meeting up with someone for drinks and the restaurant we went to had an hour wait, so ironically we ended up at Smokey Bones. Now they may have royally screwed up my online order that one time, but the bar service was A-1! We came in and overheard the hostess tell the couple in front of us they can sit at the bar and if they want a table, it would be a 30-45 minute wait. If you are coming to that area to dine or have drinks on a Saturday evening, try to make a reservation because if not, you may have to wait. We found two seats at the bar, sat down, and Jo Jo greeted us right away. She told us that it was Margarita Day and they had $4 Margarita specials. Say what?! Yes, please!!! They also had food specials but I just came for the drinks since I had already ate. We both ordered the regular Margaritas. She asked if we wanted salt or sugar on the rim and I declined both. Now usually when the drinks are cheap, there isn't much alcohol but not those margaritas! The drinks were strong! After a couple of sips, my eyes were getting low. After two drinks, I was feeling good, feeling great! I told her I was done but my friend ordered another drink. When Jo Jo brought his drink, she brought me another drink as well. She had forgotten I didn't want another drink and she apologized and told me she got me. I was not complaining at all because I did drink it. So we had three drinks each and when the bill came, Jo Jo only charged us for five drinks, that was thoughtful of her to not charge us for my third drink I thought I didn't want but slurped down anyway. I don't know if the $4 margaritas are only on Saturdays but if you want to get out and have some good, cheap drinks, in a setting with a nice vibe. go see Jo Jo! She will take care of you.

Smokey Bones is SMOKIN!!! And a lot of it is due to the great service of Shakiya. She was extremely attentive and made sure that our party of roughly 25 brothers who were hungry. The atmosphere was welcoming and clean and the food was great. Especially my lemon pepper wings and broccoli. I was a frequenter to Smokey Bones when I lived in Maryland and I didn't know if I'd find the same type of food here (mostly the smoked wings) but so happy I did. And thanks to Shakiya for serving us with a smile from beginning to end!

Dropped in for a quick working lunch. The service was fast but very boring. Our waiter was dry and not friendly (not rude either). He would walk up and just remove stuff off the table and interrupted us eating and talking to hand him a straw wrapper on the opposite side of the table. He didn't check on us too frequently but he was visibly available if we needed it. He gave us very much "I'm here so I don't get fired" vibes. The food was good: got the lunch special chicken wings. It tasted good and was worth the price.

I had a business meeting and when we came in the manager greeted us and made us feel welcomed. Our waiter was Greg and he was AMAZING!!! He was professional, attentive, and quick with our request. The best service we've had in a long time. When you come to Smoky Bones ask for Greg! The food was hot and fresh and made to order and it was a chill vibe with a bar inside.

For vegans good luck. Limited items. I ordered fried pickles without the ranch, sweet potato fries, and a blushing strawberry sangria. They once had a vegetarian burger on the menu (not that it would help me) but that's no longer on their menu. So if you're a vegetarian, maybe ask before arriving. However, at least you (vegetarians) have many options. I mean at the very least you can have the typical beyond meat or impossible burger for us. So 1 star off for the lack of vegan items. Everyone else you will enjoy your food. My family did. When I wasn't vegan years ago I enjoyed the food. So no complaints there. We were fortunate to have an excellent waitress that provided excellent service 5/5! Restaurant ambiance nice, clean, like the open environment and it wasn't crowded on a Saturday afternoon. Noise was moderate, may get a little loud for those watching the game. Recommend for BBQ lovers. Oh and they have really good drinks too!
